Through the window in the center of the picture (just to the left of the lampshade) is a trestle. Yes, it's a railroad trestle - the Maple Leaf Railroad. It's no longer operable, but quite the creation of our great neighbor, John Zimmerman.

The bathroom is all set up and we are loving it.
The glass block wall you can see in the upper right of this picture is a wall of the walk-in shower.
The walk-in shower is a joy.
The difficult front steps lacked a handrail, 75 years after the house was built. I had to wait until the contractor was done moving the Bobcat in an out before fixing this problem - by then, 3 of our friends had taken falls.
Problem solved!
